Many music commentators and reviewers have called this a return to the original sound but I would venture this is more of a return to the original Duran Duran ethos of high energy, catchy choruses and avant-garde pop/5().

3. Mar 21,  · The point for my comment regarding Globe are two things: the so called new sound of Duran Duran or "returning to one's roots" are simply nonsense. Simon Le Bon write new songs and lyrics and he still create perfect pop songs like "Falling Down" on Red Carpet Massacre, "Girls Panic!" or "All You Need Is Now" from the same called Album !!!/5(25).
